Achieve Meaningful Use!
Meaningful Use Stage 1 certified.
The phrase “Meaningful Use” has become a focal point of providers interested in participating in the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program. Under this program the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs provide incentive payments to eligible professionals, eligible hospitals and critical access hospitals (CAHs) as they adopt, implement, upgrade or demonstrate meaningful use of certified EHR technology. Eligible professionals can receive up to $44,000 through the Medicare EHR Incentive Program and up to $63,750 through the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program.
Providers who use blueEHR (formerly ZH- OpenEMR) have successfully submitted their attestation for Meaningful Use Stage 1. blueEHR (formerly ZH- OpenEMR) makes it easier to collect and report on Meaningful Use data, saving time and effort in the attestation process. The system has enhanced data mapping features that associate the necessary meaningful use related information. Once the data is captured, sophisticated reporting allows providers to quickly analyze their data against critical quality measures and refine their workflow and information gathering processes.
As a leading contributor to OpenEMR and supporter of the OpenEMR community, ZH Healthcare is the first company to begin work on Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements needed for certification and on track to be ready far ahead of the deadline set by the government.
